Today, the newest addition to the fleet of MSC Cruises brand ships, the Serenade of the Seas, set sail to the Gulf of Mexico aboard the 3,500-passenger ship. The maiden voyage of the 690-foot-long, four-night MSC Serenade of the Seas cruise ship is the beginning of a new chapter in MSC Cruises’ European itineraries, with the ship set to begin voyages to the Mediterranean and Western European waters from Rome, Italy, in May 2016.

MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, the MSC Seashore, set sail on her maiden trip in Europe today.
More guests will be greeted on board the line’s first Seaside EVO ship today in Naples as part of her maiden seven-night western Caribbean cruise, which will begin in Barcelona, Marseille, and Genoa on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively.
After that, the ship will stop at Messina, Sicily; Valetta, Malta; Barcelona, Marseille, and finally Genoa.

The ship will spend the remainder of the summer and early autumn in the Mediterranean before embarking on an 18-night transatlantic Grand Voyage to Miami.
MSC Seashore will offer two separate seven-night cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Miami. The first will visit Jamaica’s Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman’s George Town, and Mexico’s Cozumel. San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic will be visited on the second itinerary.
A stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the line’s own island in the Bahamas, will be a highlight of every MSC Seashore cruise departing from Miami.

The Seaside EVO class ships are an evolution of the MSC Seaside and Seaview class ships.
Seashore has more outdoor area than any other MSC Cruises ship sailing from the United States, and it has added additional outdoor places and venues. Six swimming pools are available on board, including an aft infinity pool.

The ship also offers 11 dining options and almost 20 bars and lounges, including al fresco dining for the first time at Butcher’s Cut restaurant. Kaito Sushi also has a conveyor belt, which is a first for MSC.

Seashore, like the previous two Seaside class ships, has a glass-floored Bridge of Sighs with magnificent and distinctive ocean vistas towards the aft.
The MSC Yacht Club is the biggest ship in the fleet, with over 32,000 square feet of area, most of it with sweeping ocean views at the front.
On November 20, 2023, MSC Seashore will set sail from Miami.
