Princess Cruises announced today that it will be adding another 75 departures from Alaska to its fleet in 2023, bringing their total number of Alaska cruises to 603 for the year. The additional cruises include a number of new itineraries that will depart from Juneau and Ketchikan, AK; Juneau and Skagway, AK; and Juneau and Vancouver, BC.

Princess Cruises is expected to announce more details about its inaugural Alaska cruise in 2019, with new itineraries in 2023. The cruise line will start the Alaska cruise season in 2023 with a new itinerary that travels from Vancouver, British Columbia to Juneau, Alaska, touching on the Tongass National Forest, Glacier Bay and Glacier Bay National Park. Princess will return to the Alaska sailing season in 2023 with a new itinerary that travels from Vancouver, British Columbia to Juneau, Alaska, and passes by Glacier Bay and Glacier Bay National Park.

Princess Cruises has announced the onboard entertainment and dining options that will be available on the Majestic Princess’ Alaska itineraries this summer.

The ship will operate seven-day cruises from Seattle, departing July 25 through July 26. September 2023.

Dining room

All of the ship’s catering facilities will be open. With OceanNow, passengers have total control and flexibility over onboard dining, including booking Dine My Way and ordering food, drinks and more delivered to the right place on the ship.

Main dining rooms

The large dining rooms of Allegro, Concerto and Symphony serve a multi-course menu every evening, freshly prepared by Princess’s culinary team. The menu features Alaskan seafood, family-style meals and delicious desserts.

World Fresh Market Place

The World Fresh Marketplace is essentially the ship’s buffet, with food stations such as East Meets West featuring dishes such as French crepes, Asian noodles, German sausages, Japanese satay and freshly baked breads and pastries.

Speciality restaurants

Majestic Princess has several specialty restaurants, including Harmony, a Chinese restaurant created in collaboration with chef Richard Chen; Bistro Sur La Mer, a French-style bistro created by chef Emmanuel Renaud; and Crown Grill, a steakhouse with a special menu for Alaskan sailors.

International Coffee

The International Café will be open 24 hours a day and will offer a variety of gourmet dishes, delicacies, coffee and tea.

Pizzeria Alfredo

Voted the best pizza by the sea by USA Today, this restaurant offers a menu of fresh, made-to-order pizzas, as well as beer and wine by the glass.

Chopsticks Pasta Bar

The baguettes serve freshly made noodle soups and classic stir-fry dishes – the perfect light lunch.

Entertainment

From original musicals to magic shows, feature films, comedians and game shows, passengers are sure to be entertained on the Majestic Princess.

Day

Daytime activities include the Disembarkation Day Party to celebrate embarkation, SeaCRAFTS, Bingo, Trivia, Tai-Chi, Ocean Treks Adventure cooking demonstration, Zumba on deck and Princess Book Club.

Night

The Princess Theatre features Sweet Soul Music, a tribute to rhythm and blues, and Encore, a show celebrating the traditions of pop, opera and musical theatre, with an orchestra on stage. There will be guest artists, including singers, comedians, magicians and special guests, as well as the Princess House Band.

Other evening events include bingo, games, Stargazing at Sea, Movies Under the Stars, artist performances and a Captain’s Toast.

Good courage at sea

Good Spirits sends viewers around the world in search of unusual and ordinary people who share stories of spirits and gather fresh, local ingredients to inspire unique cocktails. Passengers will be able to immerse themselves in the environment while expert bartenders guide them through an exciting cocktail experience.

Wellness and fitness centre

Lotus Spa services include facials, massages, salon services, MediSpa services and acupuncture.

The fitness center will offer fitness classes, figure advice and personal training.

Unfortunately, the spa suite and the Enclave will not be open during these Alaska cruises.

Casino

A casino is a place where gambling enthusiasts can gather to play slot machines, table games and bingo.

Ocean Casino will also allow bet-based games of chance, such as sports betting and blackjack, directly on the cabins’ television sets.

Cruise Tariff

These 2023 Alaska cruises aboard the Majestic Princess start at $689 per person on the Princess Savers fare and $1,079 on the Princess Plus fare, including drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities.
