Galešnjak
Galešnjak is a small island in Croatia that has six cute heart-shaped islands. The islands are very close to each other, but they are still separated by the sea.
When Google Earth first unveiled Croatia’s distinctive heart-shaped Galenjak island, it captured the hearts of romantics all over the globe, bringing it to the world’s notice over a decade ago.
The tiny island, dubbed Lover’s Island, is situated in the Paman strait between the Paman Islands and the mainland town of Turanj.
But did you know that the island isn’t the only one in Croatia with a heart shape? There are more, all of which are curiously situated near Zadar on the Dalmatian coast.

Mrtonjak island, which is situated in front of Sali on Dugi Otoko, is a true green heart with rounded corners. It is deserted, like are the other heart-shaped islands.
Lisac Island, the next heart-shaped island in front of Sv. Juraj, is the next heart-shaped island.
Gromilica island, situated in Lake Prokljan near Skradin, is the last heart-shaped island.
