Oceania Cruises is known for two things: providing the most luxurious modern cruise line experiences and providing the best value, so I was excited when I heard they had launched the Vista. The Vista has all the amenities you would expect from a modern luxury cruise line, and like it’s sister ships, it has a European feel. When you enter the Vista, you are transported to a new world. The room design is modern yet classic, with a hint of European elegance and sophistication. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The worldwide recession has seen the hotel industry in Australia take a bit of a hit, with the drop in visitor numbers and the rise of the digital nomad. To counter this, Oceania has added an extra level of luxury to its Vista Hotels, by introducing the Vista’s room and suite designs. The Vista’s room will be the largest room in the hotel, with an incredible floor-space of 22,400 square feet. The suite will have a double bed, a luxury bathroom, a living room area with a sofa and a satellite TV, as well as a separate dining area and an en-suite bath.Oceania Cruises has revealed the design of the rooms and suites on its newest ship. It features larger bedrooms and bathrooms in the verandah-style areas aboard the Vista, which will make its maiden voyage in early 2024.
All cabins and suites will feature rainforest-style showers, larger bathrooms and more storage. The larger Penthouse, Oceania and Vista suites offer even more space, including dining and living areas. The Vista is Oceania’s first cruise ship that will also offer cabins for solo travelers, called Concierge-level Solo Veranda Cabins.
Each cabin and suite will be decorated in a relaxed style. The color palette includes warm tones of silver and wheat, with touches of piping, gold and sienna.
The Vista category for solo travelers is the Concierge level Solo Veranda Stateroom, which features a private veranda, separate sleeping area and access to the Concierge Lounge.
The Concierge Level Veranda Cabin is a step up from the Single Traveler’s Room and features a queen bed, sitting area and private veranda. Guests in this category also have access to the concierge lounge, complimentary laundry service and more.

Veranda cabins are a step up, with 291 square feet of space including the veranda. A queen-size bed and sitting area are the focal point of this room. Rooms in this category have an oversized bathroom that can accommodate a couple.

The 440 square foot penthouse suite features a walk-in closet, a large en-suite bathroom with two baths, a large private veranda and a dedicated butler who will answer any questions or requests. Guests in this suite category have access to the executive lounge.

These suites also have a private butler and access to the executive lounge.

The last category of suites is called Vista Suite, and there are eight of them on board. With living space ranging from 1,450 to 1,850 square feet, they offer a spacious living room, dining room, bar, large sunroom, master bedroom with walk-in closet and whirlpool tub in the bathroom. These suites, like the others, are furnished and offer access to the executive lounge.
As on each of our ships, we strive to make our guests feel at home from the moment they enter their stateroom or suite aboard the Vista, said Bob Binder, president and CEO of Oceania Cruises. The Vista’s rooms will offer all the amenities and personal touches we are known for. They are designed with the style and elegance our guests love and expect from Oceania Cruises.
The largest suite, the owner’s suite, will be presented at a later date. Vista routes will be available on the 9th. September 2024 and unveiled on the 15th. September put on sale.
